Tied together by themes of hope and resilience, WE COULD BE is a cluster of playlets created specifically for this moment; a recognition of where we are -- and where we could be.
My first live performance since the pandemic began, "we could be" was a beautiful opportunity for me to work with my long-time mentors Matt White and Carin Lowerison, as well as many other local artists I've looked up to and wanted to work with for some time. It was the first time I felt like my voice and input as a professional artist was considered, and it was so rewarding to perform in front of an audience that was excited to be back in a theatre again.
